The hosts gave Bosso an early scare when Sebastian Mutizirwa took advantage of confusion in the Highlanders defense and headed home a cross in the ninth minute. Simon Munawa levelled the scores in the 37th minute after being set up by Mthulisi Maphosa. Highlanders could have taken the lead in the 73rd minute when they won a freekick just outside the box. However Maphosa wasted the chance as he sent the ball right into the wall. Highlanders finally found the back of the net again in the 85th minute through a Simon Munanwa long range strike. In the dying moments of the game Munawa set up Masimba Mambare who sealed the match for the visitors. |
